Heaven Sent Adoption Services, Inc. is an exciting, new Raleigh-based non-profit that provides a range of services in the field of orphan care. Heaven Sent’s primary aim is to help more orphaned children find loving homes by reducing the financial barriers to adoption.

The organization is led by Brian and Jessica Johnson, who were inspired by the experience of adopting their own three children. The cost of adoption, which can range from $10,000 to $40,000, deters many who have the ability and desire to adopt one of the 100 million orphans worldwide.

Services include:

• Raising awareness by speaking at churches, conferences and other appropriate venues about the plight of orphans, both domestically and internationally, and about specific adoption issues such as transracial adoption
• Providing one on one support, counsel and resource connections for families considering adoption, or who are already in the process of adopting
• Bringing humanitarian support to orphanages abroad
• Awarding grants to families in need of financial assistance with their adoption experiences
